Valley Vision | towards a comprehensive vision for the future of the Bulkley Valley

Valley Vision Drop-in Session

Drop-in to the Northwest Community College’s library building on Tuesday April 29, between 6:30 and 8:30 PM for an informal introduction to the new ValleyVision.ca website and an opportunity to discuss land planning in the Bulkley Valley.

ValleyVision.ca is an innovative website that inks residents, planners and developers of British Columbia’s Bulkley Valley with planning information, planning processes and with each other.

ValleyVision.ca offers a user-friendly portal to planning activities, a repository for planning-related knowledge and a forum for expressing opinions. Valley Vision takes a neutral point of view in planning issues but does advocate for a comprehensive, long-term, visionary approach to planning.

The drop-in session on Tuesday April 29 will take place in a classroom with 18 computers connected to the internet. Participants can explore the ValleyVision.ca website and discuss planning interests and the website’s potential with the host and other participants.

The ValleyVision.ca website was developed through private donations and volunteer efforts plus administrative support from the Bulkley Valley Research Centre. This drop-in is intended to encourage public use of the website and involvement in its future direction.

    Hi,
I’ve only just become aware of your organisation and was wondering how long you’ve been in existence.
I fully support your commitment to a comprehensive, long-term visionary approach to planning.

    Thanks for your support!

The Valley Vision website has been live since December 2007 but is still in the early stages of gaining recognition as a place to find planning information and for building a community vision(s) for the future.
