Proposed Rezoning on Driftwood Road

The Regional District of Bulkley Neckako will hold a Public Hearing in the West Fraser Room at the Smithers Municipal Office at 1027 Aldous St on Wednesday May 26th, 2010 at 7:00pm. The hearing is about a proposed bylaw that would rezone an area from Agriculture (Ag1) to Large Holdings (H2).

From their notice in the May 12 Interior News:

The subject property is located at 5008 and 5016 Driftwood Rd., approximately 7km east of Smithers. The purpose of the amendment is to allow the subdivision pf the subject property into 3 parcels.

At the Public Hearing all persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard or to present a written submission respecting matters contained in the bylaw that is the subject of the Public Hearing.

Written submissions sent by mail to P.O. Box 820, Burns Lake, BC, V0J 1E0; by fax to (250) 692-1220; or by e-mail to must be received by the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako no later than May 26, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. to be ensured of consideration at the Public Hearing.
