Application to Exclude from ALR - Whistler Road

The following information is based on a notice in the May 26, 2010 Interior News:

Vihar Construction Ltd. intends to make an application pursuant to Section 30(1) of the Agriculture Land Commission Act to exclude from the Agriculture Land Reserve (ALR) the North West 1/4 Section 6 Township 4 Range 5 Coast District (except the most southerly 20 metre strip of land).

Persons wishing to express an interest in the application should forward their comments in writing to:

Deadline for comments: June 16, 2010

Currently, the subject land is designated as Agriculture in the Smithers Telkwa Rural Official Community Plan and zoned as Ag1 (minimum size 16 ha) in the applicable RDBN Zoning Bylaw No. 700).pdf
