Definitions
Amenity migrants — people who choose to move to rural
communities or the surrounding areas for perceived or actual environmental and/or social benefits.

Planning means the scientific, aesthetic, and orderly disposition of land, resources, facilities and services with a view to securing the physical, economic and social efficiency, health and well-being of urban and rural communities. Canadian Institute of Planners
In Valley Vision, the focus is currently on land planning for people and the environment. (Fee free to suggest a more appropriate definition.)
Official Community Plan (OCP) An OCP is a statement of objectives and policies to guide decisions on planning and land use management, within the area covered by the plan, respecting the purposes of local government. Timber Supply Area (TSA) is an administrative area designated under section 7 of the Forest Act. TSAs have an allowable annual cut intended to provide a sustainable flow of timber to timber harvesting tenures. All areas outside of parks are designated as either TSA or tree farm licence.
There are three TSAs covering the Bulkley Valley: Kispiox TSA, Bulkley TSA and Morice TSA. The following image is from a provincial map of administrative areas distributed by the Ministry of Forests and Range.
